IBS-D and Fibromyalgia with Hip and Leg Pain - submitted by client J.S.
"My body and health started breaking down about 25 years ago with IBS-D. My anxiety grew worse with every episode of urgent bathroom stops. Soon I feared getting in a vehicle or even leaving the house. Immodium, Pepto and not eating or drinking anything that would set it off into a rage was the only way I could "semi"-cope through any event. Depression and anxiety were my best friends.
I saw many Doctors, and Naturopaths, took lots of medication, used trial and error, all with no hope to an end. It all helped but never got rid of the problem (curse). I came to the conclusion that this condition was never leaving. Then about 10 years ago more issues arose. My body thought IBS wasn't enough...then came Fibromyalgia, an intense nagging relentless pain in different parts of my body, lasting forever it seemed. I described it like having a toothache everywhere.

I can calm my mind down enough to at least try to get up the courage to leave the house, go for a walk or go uptown without endless mental and physical preparing.
